Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps ANNIVERSARY Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the final celebration hop in honor of Crackerbox and Suzy stamps crafterversary!! April has been jam-packed with loads of new releases and prizes along the way, but we just might have saved the rest for last!

This week I am sharing a trio of Thank You cards showcasing 2 of the new stamps released this month to thank YOU guys for celebrating all month with us!!. I used the Thanks Big stamp paired with the Buffalo Background for each of the cards, changing up the inking technique for each one.

For this first card I used the Inkon3 Atelier inks in Peacock blue and Goddess green; first inking the plaid in the green, and then adding blue just along the edges. Important note: Clean your stamp in between colors to keep from contaminating inks! Also, when partially inking a stamp, take a towel and soften the hard edges on the stamp where the inking ends, it will help create a smoother transition. After the background was done, I used the Inkon3 Blackout ink to stamp my sentiment directly onto the background. Lastly some clay apple embellishments were added for a splash of color!

My next card features an ombre inking of Inkon3’s Bee Sting yellow, Marilyn Red, and Marigold Orange inks. I partially stamped each color, with a little over lapping to transition. The sentiment was stamped in the same black ink as before, and some pink heart embellishments were added to finish it off.

For my final card, I actually spritzed the background stamp with water after I had finished stamping card #2, and then stamped directly onto cardstock for a neat watercolor effect. The Inkon3 inks are water reactive, so its almost 2 backgrounds while only inking the stamp once! After adding the sentiment in black ink again, some clear hearts were added scattered around to finish the card.
