Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge debut!

Hello! Thanks for stopping by! I am super excited to be sharing the debut of a brand new challenge blog this year!! The Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge Blog is kicking off with it’s very first challenge today and I am honored to be a guest designer!

The first challenge is all about Coffee and Snowflakes! I rarely have instant inspiration but I knew EXACTLY what products I wanted to use for this project!

Here is a list of what I used in today’s project:
Trinity Stamps Coffee Mug Die set (A true staple in my crafting collection)
Trinity Stamps Cut and Foil Big Snowflake die set
Trinity Stamps Winter Winds Stamps Set
Trinity Stamps Simply Sentimental Hello die set
Inkon3 Atelier Shark Tooth white pigment ink pad

Winter color palettes are some of my favorite with all of the cool tones—I reached for this cool aqua color cardstock in my stash for my coffee mug base and then stamped the Winter Winds stamp all over the front using the Shark Tooth white pigment ink. I love how its subtle in teh background but you still know it’s there. Next I die cut my Big Snowflake twice from white cardstock and once from iridescent cardstock. I stacked them all together for some dimension. I opted to also diecut the shadow layer for the snowflake from white cardstock to help make it pop a bit more on the base. I adhered it to the mug base with liquid adhesive. Lastly, I used the small “hi” die from the Simply Sentimental die set and cut the word from the aqua with the shadow layer being die cut from vellum. I adhered them together, then added it to the center of my snowflake to finish off the card.

I always have lofty goals of working on my Christmas cards throughout the year—I am hoping that this challenge blog will help keep me inspired and motivated to actually work ahead this year!! YAY!

Did I mention there is a prize?? This month is generously sponsored by Reverse Confetti!! Check out the main challenge post for all the details!

Thanks for stopping by, I will see you all again soon! Please note, some of my post contains affiliate links, which are used at no cost to you but do provide me a small commission if you choose to use them. Thank you!
