Trinity Winter Release is HERE!!!

Blog Hop 11-1.jpg

The day is finally here!!  The Winter Release for Trinity Stamp Company is LIVE!!  There is soooo much cuteness wrapped up in this release. There is a little something for EVERYONE!  I made a few cards up using the new sets, and am sharing them today with you! The Trinity Stamps design team is hopping today with tons of inspiration, be sure to hop along for a chance at a 25.00 gift card!  You should have arrived here from Emelie Hessler, if you get lost you can always start at the beginning over on the Trinity Stamps blog.

First up is a CAS card featuring the new Mini Nativity Die set and Christmas Senti Mini.  I absolutely love the size of this die!  It fits on my card perfectly, and it coordinates in size with the new Tall Shaker Dome Die set (SNOWGLOBE!!!) and fits perfectly there too!  I created a simple ink blended background by masking my card base first.  The colors were distress oxides in Peacock feathers, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire.  I splattered a little watered down gold  and white acrylic paints for some added interest.

The sentiment is from the new Merry Christmas Senit-mini and was perfect for my nativity scene.  I heat embossed Blessings on a small banner die (I did partial die-cutting) from the coordinating die set, and die cut Christmas from mettalic gold paper.  The banner was popped up using some foam tape.  Simple and elegant at then end!

My second card features the adorable bear from Have an Ice Day and the coordinating dies.  I have had this pattered paper in my Christmas paper *vault* for a while and thought the bear would be cute colored to match!  I colored with my zig markers, keeping my tones pale and pastel.  I also used my favorite new dies….the SLIMLINE collection… Oh my goodness these dies are fun.  If you like creating slimline cards (A10 size) these dies are a must have!  This card used the Slimline Stitched cards and Windows and the hillside die from the Slimline Scenic Borders.  Made this card SO EASY!!  The base is a 7″ by 8.5″ scored and folded at 3.5″.

Here is a close up of the cute bear!!  I just love him, and he can “hold” so many things!! I chose to leave him posed for a hug!

My next card features the new Noel die set!  It beautifully cuts both the word and a shadow base so you can layer.  On this card I cut the shadow from white and the word from metallic gold.  My deer is from the sister set to this word die, Joyeux Noel that was previously released and is still a Trinity fan favorite!

I kept my background CAS for this card so the word die would really shine.  Pulling out my embossing folders was the perfect answer.  The sweater knit added a lot of texture without overpowering my focal point.

My deer was colored with my Zig real brush pens, and fussy cut him out.

Next up is a shaker card featuring the new caroling cats from Do Re ME OW and coordinating dies.  They are so stinkin’ cute!!  I colored them with Tombow markers and die cut them to add to my scene.    The shaker base was made using the new Slimline Stitched cards and Windows and the hillside die from the Slimline Scenic Borders.  The window die made the shaker so easy to make!  I stamped the Falala stamp in the background and added a wintery sequin mix to shake about.

That wraps up all of my cards for today!  I hope you continue to hop along, next up is Andrea Shell, the full list is also below for reference if you would like.
