Just Dream Rocker card ft. TLC Designs

Hello and welcome! Today I am sharing one of my absolute FAVORITE cards I have ever made!! I created a rocker card using stamps and dies and digital papers from TLC Designs.

I owe a ton of credit to the uber talented Amanda Stevens over at Pear Blossom Press for her incredible source of inspiration and tutorial on her Youtube channel. You can check it out [here].

I chose my color scheme from the beautiful blues and purples in the Watercolor Naturals Digital Paper Pack. I love ALL of the papers in this pack, and they print beautifully! After I had a selection of papers to mix and match (because they all coordinate perfectly!) I grabbed the darling Dreamer the Dragon stamp and some Copic markers and got to coloring. After the coloring was done, I fussy-cut the cutie out and set him aside while I put together the rest of the card.

The main card base is a 5″ circle folded in half. To simplify the basic instruction a bit–full tutorial is better explained in Amanda’s video–but the dragon is attached to a pendulum that is weighted down by a coin. Genius right? So when the card is tipped one direction, the dragon *rocks* the other. I decided my sweet sleepy babe needed to be dreaming in the clouds, which set the tone for the rest of the scene. I die cut a yellow moon and clouds using the Aztec Sunshine die set. I backed the yellow moon with the larger circle in the same set in purple. All they layers make me so happy!!

Finally I stamped the sentiment from the Dreamer the Dragon stamp set directly onto a cloud and adhered it to my card.

Of course I needed to show it to you all in action! Isn’t it the cutest!?! Let me know what you think in the comments below! What type of card should I make next? Any requests??

That finishes up my card for today! I will be back next Monday with another fun TLC designs project. Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook too, and subscribe to me on YouTube to keep up with all my caffeinated adventures!
