Hi crafty Friends! This is my second week as a guest designer over at The Krafty Chicks Challenge blog, this month! I am having so much fun joining in with the girls over there this month and playing along. A big thank you to the Krafty Chicks for having me!!
I am playing along with Challenge 494 today with a card featuring The Rabbit Hole Design‘s Christmas Frost! This cute couple brings a smile straight to my face every time.
I started by stamping them onto Bristol smooth cardstock and watercoloring them with my Zig Real Brush markers. I picked A bright and cheery holiday palette, as they were the star of the card design. I fussy cut the image out and set it aside while I worked on the card base.
I created a 110lb white cardstock base, and then stenciled a light snowflake pattern over it. I chose a gray. Lend of distress oxides, concentrating more color towards the top of the card, getting lighter towards the base. My sentiment came from the same stamp set. I stamped it a total of three times directly onto the card base, balancing the image I glued towards the bottom left of the card base.
