TRHD February New Release Day 1

Hello and welcome to first day of the New Release Inspiration hop for the February release from The Rabbit Hole Designs! This month is taking us all back to my favorite line of stamps from TRHD, the Caffeinated Critters!! There are three new critters being released, today we are showcasing the Caffeinated Dragon!

For today’s card, I started with a A2 size panel of white cardstock and ink blended the clouds using my blending buddy brush and a cloud stencil from my stash. The colors I used were Mowed Lawn, Wilted Violet, and Chipped Sapphire. After the panel air dried some, I used the Circles and Stars stencil and some Gina K Glitz gel in white to add a bit of texture to the background, and of course some *sparkle*.

I stamped the Caffeinated Dragon in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and proceeded to color him with my Nuvo alcohol markers. I had a bit of fun creating a “scale” pattern of sorts to add some interest. I really enjoyed the end result! I also added some Liquid Pixie Dust to the wings to create some shimmer as well.
