Trinity Stamps Crafty Love release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends! Welcome!! If you are new to my blog, take a peek around and be sure to follow me to keep up with my caffeinated adventures! If you are already familiar with me, then YAY!

Today is a special day, Trinity Stamp Company is debuting their Crafty Hugs new release and let me tell you….its EPIC!! From monsters to florals to uplifting quotes…there is something for everyone!

I have a few projects to share today, so lets get started!

First up I have a 3×4 card featuring the card die from the new release Slimline Series: Frame and Fold die and the 3×4 stamp set called Love and Happy Thoughts. Dani Bondurant from Love, Dani Studios is an amazing artist and illustrator, and she knocked this one out of the park! I love the positive vibes this card sends. The Frame and Fold die set has a 3×4 card, which fits this stamp (and some others in the release!) just perfect!

I chose to use colored pencils and no-line color the image with a bit of an ombre theme in colors. I stamped it on kraft colored cardstock using Inkon3 Fadeout ink. Then just colored away! I love how it looks hand drawn after it is all done. I chose to keep it to just the image on this one, because it is such a powerful one to me.

Next up I have a duo of cards, one you might have seen me make LIVE on Facebook yesterday as part of sneak week!! I made the 3×4 shaker card live in the Trinity Stamps | Imagination, Inspiration, & Conversation Facebook group. I go live about once a week, sometimes even more, so you should come on over and say hello!! If you head over and find this card video replay, comment for a chance to win the embellishment mix I used in the shaker!! It’s an exclusive mix that Trinity Stamps handed out at Creativation this year, so stinking cute! Quick recap of product used: Monster Love s4x6 stamp set (seriously ADORABLE) and the Slimline Frame and Fold die set. Visit the live for all the details 🙂

My last card features the Layered Hearts stencil and the Love You dies included in the Slimline Series: Frame and Fold die set. I LOVE the new layered stencil!! The hearts are so cute, and I can’t seem to set it down lately! I started by using one of the layers and stenciling Thermoweb transfer gel onto an A2 panel of bristol cardstock. After that was dry, I used Rainbow Shatter DecoFoil and ran it through a laminating machine to foil the hearts.. **Sparkly** Next I ink blended the cardstock directly over the foil using a combination of Distress Oxides in Candied Apple and Picked Raspberry, blending in a circular motion with my Blending Buddy brush. The next step was to layer the second part of the stencil set on top, aligning the etched pattern, and ink blend using Black Soot distress ink. I lightly spritzed some water onto the card for a bit of texture, and then dried it with a microfiber cloth, wiping excess ink off of the foiled pattern.

The “Love You” dies are from the Frame and Fold die set, and were cut each once in black and then again in white cardstocks, then pieced back together so there was a black outline around white lettering. I adhered them directly onto the card base using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. My sub-sentiment is from the Love and Stuff 3×4 sentiment set, and I HAD to use it!! I have written this same sentiment in cards for years!! Probably dating back to my grade school note passing times! I stamped the sentiment in Inkon3’s Embossing Ink onto black cardstock and heat embossed in white embossing powder.

Final touches included adding an array of Boiled Sugar hearts embellishments in a diagonal-esque pattern across the card for some more interest.

Here is a quick list of the ENTIRE lineup for this hop!! It is huge, but so worth it! We will be giving away 3 prizes! 2 $15 Gift Certs to Trinity shop and 1 $25 gift certificate to Trinity shop. To be eligible, hoppers must comment on all stops. Comments are due by 2/7/20 at 11:59 PM PST. Winner will be announced on the Trinity Blog on 2/10.

  1. I like your cards! The no line coloring on the craft is by far my favorite! Great shading and that kraft paper is a soft landing for the image! Great work!
