12 days of Christmas TAGS: Day 1

 

Hello and welcome!!

Over the next 12 days, my friend Amanda over at Twiddler’s Nook and I are going to share different Christmas tag ideas with you. We’re hoping to inspire you to spice up your gift wrapping this year. Be sure to check out both blogs and leave comments for a chance to win at the end of our 12 days.

For my first tag, I knew I had to pull back out one of my all time favorite stamp sets, Stamping Up’s Cookie Cutter Christmas! I am not a current demonstrator, nor am I affiliated with one so I am unsure if this set has been retired or not yet….BUT I STILL LOVE IT!!  These reindeer make me smile every time, and who doesn’t like a quick tag creation this time of year?

to make these is simple, here’s how:

• Stamp reindeer in brown ink (I used Versafine Clair ink in Acorn)
• Punch out stamped image using the coordinating Stamping Up Cookie cutter punch.
• Glue red pom pom to “nose”
• attach a swipe of festive washiest tape over a precut kraft tag
• Attach twine through hole at top of tag

That’s it!!  You have a completed tag.  This tag has the benefit of being easily mass produced if needed as well.
