TRHD July New Release Inspiration Hop Day: 3

Welcome back for the final day of The Rabbit Hole Designs July New release Inspiration Hop!!  Today happens to showcase my favorite one of all!!  The Caffeinated Narwhal!!!  Oh my word does he just crack me up!  I mean, who doesn’t like a narwhal??

For my first card I ink smooshed some distress inks onto some cold press watercolor paper.  My narwhal was colored with Tombow markers and then fussy cut out and attached to the background with some foam tape for dimension.  My sentiment was embossed on some scrap black cardstock and cut out carefully, then glued to the card base.

For my second card, I made a stencil on my Cameo, then ink blended in Distress ink Lipstick pink and Spun Sugar for the background.  I spritzed heavily with water then blotted away with a paper towel.  I love how it gave a “bokeh” look to the background.

My Narwhal was colored with Zigs this time, sticking with the pink theme.  Narwhals are pink too right??  Last minute addition was the caffeine symbol stamped into the background as well, it just fit too perfect to pass up!
