You’re Pretty as a Peony

Welcome back to day 3 of The Rabbit Hole Designs June new release!!

I am a sucker for floral stamps, so I am so excited to be showcasing Pretty in Peony.

Here is a close-up of this beautiful, elegant 4×6 stamp set:

TRH Pretty in Peony

This set lends itself to so many different uses! I chose to create a sympathy card for my first project. I masked and embossed an array of the flowers and leaves across the bottom of my A2 panel. I watercolored the flowers, and then stamped the sentiment directly to the card. I trimmed the panel just slightly and then mounted it to the card base with foam tape. there is a little bit of gold washiest peeking through on the horizontal edges to tie into the gold embossing. Soft and elegant was the look I was going for.

For my second card I played around with no-line coloring. I started by stamping my leaves in a wreath shape using Memento Angel Dust pink so I could easily color and shade over the lines. I stamped the flower multiple times on seperate paper and then fussy cut just the blooms out. I added some sparkly with an assortment of sequins and splattered the background some with the same colors used on the blooms.
